Away from the centre of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue: white walls, green shutters, terracotta floors and exposed beams, set in two thousand five hundred square metres of walled garden.
The house was designed for long stays with a group, when there are a lot of you and everyone needs somewhere to go: the shaded terrace, a lounger by the pool, the billiard table when the sun is too strong, the pétanque court in the late afternoon.
Saint-Antoine is a quiet residential quarter with shops close at hand. It is also the right side of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue for heading out to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and the Luberon without crossing the centre.

L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is one of the few Provençal towns that lives all year round. Its Sunday market, its quaysides lined with waterwheels and its antiques quarter, the third largest in Europe, are five kilometres from the villa.
